Strong, smart women at Rotary! And Joel ;)

Our Rotary District Governor, Christine Rendell, paid us a visit today. Just 30 years ago, Rotary didn’t even allow women members! Now, Christine and her female peers are leading our organization to greater heights and greater contribution. Soon, the 1.2 million Rotarians across the world may be led by a female President – I look forward to that. Our Club, fortunately, has many strong, smart women who are leading our efforts in our community as well. The photo above shows Christine (our district governor), Kelli-Rae (our Public Relations Director), Sherry (our Club President), Shari (our Director of fund-raising), Kim (our International Director), Kaela (our fellowship Director) and Helen (our first female Club President from around 1990 and active member today)

Christine Rendell, new member Joel Snodgrass, Lynda Thai-Baird and Duncan Lloyd.

We had a new member inducted today! Welcome, Joel Snodgrass! I have had some great discussions with Joel and he will be an amazing addition to our club (even if he is just a man 😉 )
