Adonus wants to reduce ACES!

Adonus and the service dog Madison came to Rotary and told us (Well Madison didn’t talk 😉 ) about victim services and the concerning statistics regarding abuse of children in Lethbridge and area. The connection between Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) and poor health, between ACES and addiction, between ACES and poor socio-economic status, are very clear. Adonus is looking to reduce the severity, impact, and frequency of ACES. Reducing ACES would help children today, would help them in their adult future and would help their children to live better lives. I am posing in the picture above with Adonus & Madison. Pat Killoran spoke on the Rotary clubs he visited throughout Europe. When you are part of Rotary you are connected to 1.2 million good people throughout the world. Pictured above is Pat and I (good thing I am wearing my good socks!)
