I think it is common for the Baby Boomer generation – yes, I am one of them 😉 to regard the younger generations in less than positive terms. That has probably happened with every generation, the crotchety old folks complaining about “those kids”. But, the more I engage with younger contributors to our community, the more impressed I become. It is relatively easy for someone who has a career and money to give back to their community. But the people just starting out without those assets who volunteer, who say “I will help” are truly an inspiration to me. One of those young people is George Roth. George is always willing to volunteer and has been a huge help to me in delivering the Canadian Firearm Safety Course, the Canadian Restricted Firearm Safety Course and the LFGA Shooting Sports Range Officer Course.
