Kim Derksen (pictured above with Dennis Chinner) is from the Lethbridge Sunrise Rotary Club. She spoke to our club today about her trip to India to assist in immunizing children 5 and under from polio earlier this year. The last polio case in India is from 2011… so preventing children from becoming afflicted with this terrible disease is a high priority.
