Official Contest Rules for the Allan Friesen Benefits Optimistic October Challenge.
1. Eligibility
The contest is open to legal residents of Canada who are 18 years or older.
Employees of Allan Friesen Benefits, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
2. Contest Period
The contest begins on October 7th, 2024 and ends on October 32st, 2024 (the “Contest Period”).
3. How to Enter
Participants must follow Allan Friesen Benefits on Instagram, and/or Facebook.
To earn additional ballots, participants must submit updates by commenting on the weekly update posts on Instagram or Facebook. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
4. Submission Guidelines
Submissions must be original content created by the participant.
Content that is inappropriate, offensive, or violates any laws or platform guidelines will be disqualified.
By entering, participants agree that their submissions may be shared by Allan Friesen Benefits on social media platforms.
5. Winner Selection
Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries at the end of each month.
Each valid entry and weekly update will count as a separate ballot.
Winners will be notified via direct message on the platform where they entered within 7 days after the contest period ends.
6. Prizes
The prize for this monthly challenge will be TBD.
Prizes are non-transferable and no cash or other substitution will be made, except at the sponsor’s discretion.
Allan Friesen Benefits is not responsible for any taxes or additional costs associated with the prize.
7. General Conditions
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Allan Friesen Benefits, which are final and binding.
Allan Friesen Benefits reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these rules or engages in fraudulent activity.
Allan Friesen Benefits reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity of the contest.
8. Limitation of Liability
Allan Friesen Benefits, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents are not responsible for:
Any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical errors, or unauthorized human intervention in the contest.
Any loss, damage, or injury that may occur in connection with the contest or the use of any prize.
9. Publicity
By entering, participants consent to Allan Friesen’s use of their name, likeness, and submission for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
10. Platform-Specific Rules
This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook.
Participants agree to release Instagram, and Facebook from any liability related to this contest.
11. Privacy
Any personal information collected during the contest will be used solely for the purposes of administering the contest and in accordance with Allan Friesen’s privacy policy.
12. Governing Law
The contest is governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, and applicable federal laws without regard to its conflict of law principles.
